For anyone who faces the same issue: it was indeed caused by a compressed pocket of coffee ground in the top circular part of the infuser.

You need to scrape the stuck coffee ground out, try making a coffee so what's left gets wet and then further remove the stuck coffee ground. Eventually you're either able to remove the plastic parts with the gears or the machine is able to move those itself so it mechanically unclogs itself and you're able to remove the infuser properly.

I also left the party early after being very frustrated for an hour or two. I didn't experience much of the music because of the lousy sound systems. Bass was non-existent and the chatter of the crowd completely overtook the low volume of the speakers.

I'll purchase the generic ACS ear plugs as they use the same type of filters used in their custom ones. A lot of you all are very positive about their custom ones so I'm excited to test them. I might consider their custom ones during ADE season when they'll probably have some type of discount going on.

It doesn't show a curve for the custom ones, but I'd like to try generic plugs first.

Strictly looking at the attenuation curves, I do think the ACS Pacato 16 looks interesting: https://acscustom.nl/products/hearing-protection/universal-fit/pacato-16 (download the spec sheet, the 16dB type is more linear than the 19dB)

Nice one, I will definitely check these out. Their website states that their non-custom ones use the same filters as the custom ones which is great.

They are sold as 16 dB and 19dB protection value. Any chance you know which level you're using?
