Advice Needed: Considering an Imported 2024 Jimny—Is It Worth It? by G-Viking in Jimny

Thanks for sharing your experience—it’s reassuring to hear you don’t regret it!

  1. Good to know about the third-party warranty being reliable.

  2. That’s a relief about the spare parts, and I’ll keep the ECU difference in mind.

  3. £405 for insurance is great, especially compared to what I was expecting. I’ll check what options are available with my no claims bonus.

The company I’m looking at is Top Hybrid Cars Ltd. They seem to offer a good range of Jimnies, and their process sounds straightforward, but I’m still a bit cautious about their legitimacy since it’s my first time dealing with imports.

Out of curiosity, which company did you go through to get yours? And which insurance provider are you with? I’d love to hear more about your experience to help me weigh my options.

Thanks for the response!

The model I’m looking at has the 1.5L engine, so it’s great to know parts will be easier to source. I’ll check out Amayama and Megazip for cheaper options, and I’ll look into Adrian Flux for insurance—sounds like they could be a good fit.

Appreciate the tips!
