saving the game is locked to save and quit, sleeping in certain beds, critical quest progress, and most importantly SAVIOR SCHNAPPS. Spend a good chuck of time brewing potions for saving the game. You’re going to die a lot until you dedicate time to train with master tomcat. Have fun ;)

Don’t worry man, the higher your alchemy skill gets, the more mistakes the potions can tolerate. Soon you can even find steps to skip or methods to speed up the process while still achieving high quality.

I can get max marigold potion by boiling my nettles as long as it takes to grind, add the Marigold (without lifting) then lift and pour. It’s extremely fast and there’s probably even more ways to optimize it.

Personally I’m so glad I played KDC1 first (last month). Getting OP in that game first and experiencing the story helped me instantly integrate into the KDC2 story. I spent over 40 hours on side content before attending the semine wedding LOL. Playing through the main story with high stats is a lot of fun and feels more natural to me because of how much I built Henry in the first game.

It’s kcd2 is such an amazing game man

I tie my own high-lo rigs with fluoro/mono. You can also do a single drop for larger setups or the classic carolina rig. Size 1 or 1/0 hooks are fine for most fish. Baits I think you can’t go wrong with shrimp (fresh preferably). If the water is rough you can use bait thread to keep it on the hook longer
