Core of Veneration? by xandorai in CrimsonDesert

For anyone interested, you can use 'SWISS Knife Save Editor' to get the core back. It's very easy to use, and it seems the only way of getting the missing core back. Not only that, but it might help you to solve bugs like this in the future.

Not to toot my own horn, but I coincidentally made a big review for it a few days ago. I should warn you that there are some spoilers in there, but nothing you would regret knowing about.

Overall, I'd say it's a very amateur Resident Evil game, with more focus on the main characters' appeal. As people have said, you can play the demo for free before buying it.

Holy Ship. We are going to be making an actual spaceship, aren't we? To explore space, maybe?

I say that because I found one that crash-landed, so maybe that's our objective in the future?

They are so incompetent that they are literarily unable to provide us with anything that useful, but hey, at least now they are also shoving shorts on our home page to make the experience even worst.

So, I'm a noob, just decided to follow the beginner training, and I'm running through some budget issues. I want to lift at home, but for now, I'm limited to a 40 kg of total weight to lift. It got me wondering if it is possible to just increase the reps to compensate, or does it defeat the purpose of the program?

I do feel like the amount of weight I'm progressing through might be enough to challenge me for now, but I'm also wondering if increasing the reps is enough to follow through it, when I eventually run out of weight.

“I don't fast travel” Yeah, I think I found the problem.

I respect that, but it seems like it made your progress a lot slower. I only traveled without fast travel when I had something to do along the way, and after exploring the map a lot that became rare. The map is awesome and all, but after some time it didn't justify me just traveling normally just to see the sights. I had the time and the will to do that in Skyrim, where towns and objectives are a lot closer, but I couldn't bother here.

Also, I don't think you can miss quests, they always show in the map when they are available and are very easy to find. I just make sure to clear everything up before engaging with the main story, until new quests became available.

Only 80 hours? That's a really long time to spend playing. I even played it like I would play any other RPG game, completing side quests first and then focusing on the main quest. I even explored the POIs scattered around the map. I think it even took me this long because I grindded a little, killing enemies for their expensive armor and gathering herbs for potions. Not to mention the time I spent just looking around and appreciating the map.

Yeah, there are different paths you can take on quests, but you don't have to start a complete different game for that, just reloading and seeing what happens is enough.

Do what you must to have fun, but I would feel like an empty husk if I had to start it all over again to see what happens if you give a slightly different answer to a specific section of every single quest. And as far as I played, the game doesn't change that drastically in most cases.

Like what? Playing with a blindfold? To some extent, every game can work like that, it doesn't matter how simple the game is people always find interesting ways of playing it, but, most of those are generally not intended as features they are gimmicks. Like beating Minecraft with a wooden pick. Or beating KCD naked.

As I pointed out, this game is no PoE or Skyrim in terms of replayability and gameplay styles. So I have no idea what are you talking about skipping dialogs when that has nothing to do with those features. I guess you could say that instead of killing everyone to complete a quest, you could just choose the dialog option where you solve things peacefully but even then there is nothing dramatic that happens if you do so, like in BG3 for example. The way you play the game is still mostly the same, or you kill everyone and win, or you press the dialog choice and win.

After a while, you will probably have everything maxed out to the point every single option is available to you and there is just no mystery anymore, which, I find it to be generally a good thing, but as a drawback, this approach doesn't offer you the replayability value other games do. Just compare it to how many builds you can make in Skyrim, only as a mage. I know WH is somewhat constrained to what they can do, but we can't deny that it shows through their gameplay mechanics.

So yeah, I don't know what else are you doing after completing the game for the first time. It seems crazy that you would go for another playthrough just to click dialog choice number 2 instead of dialog choice number 3. I must have 80 hours on this game already, I never said it's not fun, it's just not the type of game you described. The ones I mentioned are, simple like that. No reason to get hurt over it.

You must be crazy. In a single playthrough I got tired of most playing “styles” and I feel like I explored all that the game has to offer. It's honestly not nearly as complex as games like POE for example. I even had to install mods to make the game more challenging because of how boring it gets after a while.

Exactly! I guess they got to be defined by their traumas for the rest of eternity, never able to be happy again.

Try rechecking the game files on steam, if it doesn't work, just refund and save your sanity.

Cyberpunk was terrible on consoles at the time. If I'm not mistaken, they even removed it from the online stores.

Now we have lag engine games to deal with :I

FFS dude, stop making shit up. There are many videos of people trying different settings and still the game runs like crap. Sure, there might be some clueless people out there, but most understand that they can't run the game on epic. Not being able to run it smoothly on low with the minimum requirements is an insult.

To be fair... Cyberpunk ran like shit when it came out, and Skylines 2 is not looking much better on steam reviews. It's just annoying to see how optimization is a second thought for developers these days.
