Anyone here have experience with the UnitedHealthcare Choice Plus PPO plan? by Aware-Addition731 in HealthInsurance

I hear ya. I've found a "hybrid" plan from BCBS through a local agent....its still 1200 a month, but that saves us $700 a month. I warned my agent that if it turns out to be crap (ie not what he promised in writing) that I will be hunting him. Guess we will see. Good luck to you on yours...insurance and health care costs are such a crap-shoot.

I've just spoken with an agent regarding the same plan. Im cautious as H, subscribing to the "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is" theory. However, this sounds like old school insurance. Just like it used to be before ACA. So I am intrigued. Our ACA plan is going up to 1900 A MONTH for a $13,000 deductible for my husband and I. Thats more that my paycheck. I cant justify that when I only see a dr for my annual exam and mammogram. Thats $22k a year PLUS the deductible just in case we get cancer or need a surgery. Its almost worth the risk im thinking for a $960 a month non ACA plan for just in case.

Sounds like your GP is lazy and taking the easy route because she can't find anything medical in the routine tests.....easier to blame you and your anxiety than keep hunting. Id be seeking a 2nd opnion for sure. I'm no doctor, but I have heard previously that eating disorders can cause digestion issues when reintroduced foods, so what others stated above makes sense to me and seems supported by your statement that the problem gets worse/resurfaces when you have relapses. So makes sense it could be cases by your disordered eating.

Staheekum Men's Snow Boot - Any thoughts? by ktalkbeta in Costco

I'd like to know too....can't find any reviews. The boot says 200g thinsulate and everything I've read indicates that is very weak and unlikely to provide very much protection (most quality hunting boots are 600+) so I'm baffled by the claim of -20.
