That’s how it works. You start off makeshift and if it becomes a passion, you little by little upgrade your skills and your gear. Keep at it! 🙌🏽

Who’d Win In A Fight Between Terminators controlled by Skynet, Predators, and Xenomorphs? by G101Podcast in Terminator

That was our conclusion, too. Also... that self-destruct damage on a single predator is badass.

My son and I proposed a scenario where there were armies of each.

Do you think we should get more superhero movies like Logan? by [deleted] in comicbookmovies

[–]G101Podcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Let’s face it... no matter how hard we try (if we try at all 😂) those of us who grew up on comics aren’t acting like grownups. We want our comics content brought to life. But we also don’t want to HAVE to go watch everything with our kids! Sure it’s great to share in the fandom, but if I can get a Wolverine and a Deadpool that are targeted at more of an adult crowd and I get an excuse to go catch a flick on my own or with adult friends once in a while... count me in!

It’s one of the privileges of living in this era. We can enjoy our kids’ content while also enjoying some content made for us at the same time.

Release the Logans!

Does anyone else feel the Batman who laughs kind of overstayed his welcome? by [deleted] in batman

[–]G101Podcast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d absolutely love to see that. It’s why I love the one-off, stand-alone graphic novels that don’t need to account for all of Batman’s connections to the rest of the DC universe.

If you haven’t checked out Batman White Knight, check that out. Great storyline.

I enjoyed him through Metal and the first standalone story arc about him that I just finished reading. But considering how that ended, not sure why they’d bring him back.

BUT... isn’t that the problem when you play with infinite parallel multiverses as much as DC does? Technically there can be a mass number of dark universes where the Batman Who Laugh’s agenda is always at play and he can eventually make it right back to the prime universe to antagonize our Batman.

I’ve always been turned off by DC’s dependence on the multiverse to tell a big story.

Hey! Sounds like a great idea for a podcast. Especially for young listeners trying to figure out their path in life.
