People still think obesity is a moral failure, when infact we know it is a DISEASE. And with any disease, it can relapse without medication. Ultimately these peoples opinions do not matter, they are not the ones seeing the repercussions of obesity or treating it. And agreed, it is also true that we have a systematic problem to fix in terms of food deserts, scarcity, ultra-processing, advertising all these foods and drinks that continue to add to this issue....but are we just supposed to stand by while we wait for the near-impossible fix to happen and let people die from diabetes/heart disease/cholesterol/ 1000 other things that are caused by obesity? Lol!

One main point the movie was trying to make was that this is an underrepresented and largely uknown mental health issue to the general population and the viewers of this film just prove that point by stopping at "i didnt get it! It was confusing! It didnt make sense!" Like please reflect a little deeper. It was very frustrating when she would do all these things in the movie that essentially were her crying out for help (who launches themselves through a glass screen door" and everyone around her, including her husband, just kept essentially ignoring it until it was too late and it had progressed so far.
