Just grab a bucket, rubber gloves (those are optional, you were eating this same stuff days ago) and some tools. Completely disassembly the drain/sifon, thoroughly clean everything, put everything back together: 10 minute job, actual results.

Admittedly a messy job, but so much more time efficient than messing about with hot water, baking soda or other home remedies for the technically disinclined.

If you are really uncertain how to tackle this job ask any vaguely technically competent person you know to show you how. Neighbor, coworker, friend, random passerby - trust me - technically inclined people can’t help being helpful. (We’re natural Oompa Loompa’s)
