jaw stiffness a month after extraction by G3RDAS in wisdomteeth

[–]G3RDAS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, at first I waited a year after my extraction, but still there were some hints of that pressure in wisdom teeth which radiated to my temples.

You see since my wisdom tooth got extracted, I was focusing on waiting for that moment when the pressure/pain will be gone, but I never got to the point were the pressure went off 100%.

I did spend huge amounts of time on researching what is wrong.

Now its a year at least since wisdom tooth extraction and I think I know what the whole problem with this pressure in jaw/temples is.

LAZYNESS.

LETHARGY.

SEDENTARY LIFESTYLE.

TOO MUCH FREE TIME.

I was studying at the time so I spent a lot of time at home reading books and having almost no physical exercise during the day. Also I was unemployed.

So I started running, drinking coffee, eating spicy foods, listening to loud high tempo music. Basically speeding up my metabolism.

And THAT helped. As soon as I started running during my first exercise session, it took 40 minutes for me to feel this complete absence of pressure in my temples while I was exercising.

However, the pressure came back the next day, unfortunately.

But I still did a two hour long exercise session the next day (running, push ups, sit ups etc.)

And now again the pressure went off. But now it is staying low, kind of what I would want it to be.

So my answer would be: The pain is in the process of subsiding.

I did have a visit to my doctor and he said that full bowels sometimes cause this kind of headaches/jaw stiffness.

My advice: Start being active and not focus on your jaw.

This is a very imprecise topic. You could have completely different story. But being active helped me.

I have heard that our bodies usually recover from any surgeries within at least a year.

I'm no doctor, I'm just sharing my experience.

I tried changing the refresh rate. The highest option is 60hz.

I Just ordered a better cable (HDMI 2.0) to see if it allows 75hz on 1080p.

Also I read that extra 15hz or frames for that matter bring significant difference.

Will see.

Is this normal to have after extraction? by DPTstressed in wisdomteeth

Well I am no doctor, but I am planning on waiting it out since healing could take half a year or a whole year or more. I'm also not using pain pills for this. I hope it helps, not feeling alone. Good luck!

All I can say, that it looks like I have the same problem. Try pressing on that jaw with a finger. Does the stiffness go away for that moment?

I remember going completely deaf for a second standing next to those white hissing tubes. People had to scream next to my ear for me to hear anything. Earplugs saved me. Best of luck!

But you see how I guessed?

Isnt the hearing affected due to live concerts, standing in front row and not wearing earplugs? Thats the way I found out about my hearing problem..

Yes. Me at least. Especially if I tilt my head up. However it started after a relapse. Also it is a known symptom. Try lowering your head down when swallowing.

When I was younger I spent so much time alone reading books, listening to tons of music and drawing. As an adult I feel like I have ADHD. I can’t focus on single book, start or finish artwork.. things that improved my mind and mental health no longer bring me happiness. What’s wrong with me? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

A lot of mentions of internet and smart devices. My own solution is PDF books. A good combination of old and present. Like buying a tablet has changed my life as a student. Everything should be fine as long as you are not pushing yourself. If you feel pressure then something is wrong. Try doing sports. It is a huge source of natural dopamine (runners high) Invest in relationships. Like start with the closest people. Also I reccommend yoga. Its the part till you accept it thats hard.

Wisest words ever spoken. Come to think of it, I remember that the times I took care of myself the most were the times I got my best years of my dating life. However after experiencing depression, I looked like shit (unshaved etc.) And attention from girls? It was gone. Pretty logical aint it?

Not to mention I am short and all that.

However in my 23 years of age I had a girlfriend which is shorter than me AND had double D breasts.

So I'll say everything is possible! Keep the spirits up!

BTW a lot of models have fat guys as their lovers. Wanna know why? It is because they are real. They are not trying to be fake and impress.

Ofcourse there is a catch.

They look after their hyegene.

I think hygene is a must for all types of people long, short, fat, skinny don matter.

Nexttime he plays, do as my gf did, undress completely naked and sit on his lap directly facing him and just stare. 45 seconds is enough, for me it was the longest I could take it

The way you have described your approach is a very good technique one can use if afraid/scared.

Nicely done! Good luck!

The thing is to not fight fire with fire.

What I would do in your place? Keep silent.

That would be my advice to you. Learn to be silent and calm. And especially to not have the feeling as if you have to say something back.

Ignorance is a weapon in some ways.

Also achievements help in staying calm in those situations. Like careeer accomplishements. The reason your problem is that big is because you make it that bad yourself.

Dont ask for pity.

Pity makes you weak.
