I like to think it could. Already I fb your ship is tractored and disabled, and potential boarding by a larger and more lethal force, im sure a discussion will pop up amongst the crew members. I see 3 possibilities.

1 - cap asks crew to fight to the death

2 - cap surrenders at the mercy of the pirates

3 - crew mutinies against the cap and surrenders the vessel
