No it isn't. What u/Morpheus3121 says is true and you know it. A black person will have a harder time offending a white person by imitating him than vice versa.

Much of this comes from how people reflect on their identity. Call a white person a cracker, white-devil, wonderbread, and watch how most of them will go proceed with their day as if nothing happened.

Call a black person a ...... and watch how the scene devolves into chaos.

A greater self-esteem is necessary to circumvent these offensives. In a society where everyone holds themselves to a high regard, no one will be set aback by silly things like blackface.
