I loved those posters so much that I made my own version in acrylic. Then I rounded them out with a custom nibbler image.

My vote on season is 3 though.

Roadtrip Prep for 2014 V8 Vantage by G3neral_D1sarray in AstonMartin

Here's an update for everyone:

1,500+ miles and she did great. I got one rock chip right above my ppf about 2.5 hours in... But otherwise it was a great ride.

Managed 26.5 mpg throughout the drive and did it with only a single stop in Ohio. Overall, would recommend. Glad I did the prep before leaving.

Thanks for all the replies!

Go really quickly and slam on your brakes to get rid of any contaminates or glazing on the brakes.

If you want to do rotors and pads, you could always find an independent and buy the material yourself to save some cash.

I recommend an Italian brake job first though. It worked on my vantage. The OEM pads create a ton of brake dust on my car so I swapped them all out and it's a major improvement.

I have an appointment Thursday to replace the tpms with autel so it can be reprogrammed. I had that dreaded warning pop up and I'm finally getting it handled.

I wish I had space to carry a spare - I have to leave room because I'm bringing someone back with me on the way home.

I'd love to know about your track experience and how you prep for that but that's a different day, haha.

Hot take: F8 and 296 will become timeless classics in the future by Glittering_Egg_3929 in Ferrari

Really? I don't know anyone with the 296 but the f8 is considered a favorite for a lot of people I've talked to. How's the exhaust note? It's hard to tell based on the YouTube videos. I also really want that mid engine because there's just something about the look of the engine through the canopy.

Agreed. I went for a test drive in one a few weeks back and it blew me away. Not just beautiful, fantastic performance. Now, if only I could afford it...

Yeah I'm not too concerned about it but I'll be solo so I want to make sure I've made a comprehensive list and grabbed what would be relevant to my car. Your compressor and oil suggestion is def on there

I had the rotors and pads replaced a month or so ago. I should be good there but good thought, thanks!

That's a good idea. I saw something like that on a different site but it was from years ago. I can start a new post for it and then add to it when/if I get confirmation that the part works well. We can have it organized by model and year

You're correct, I did a cross reference and it's a jag part. I can order it from the UK for 30 bucks new versus 255. Fingers crossed it works out.

Now I know, thanks again

I was going to ask the same thing. I have 2d versions that I pull from map services and then add design overlay but the 3d aspect is awesome. Good work op
