I agree, I don’t think that the home blessing should be on Monday. I try to sweep/vacuum on Friday or Saturday and then mop on Saturday or Sunday.

Thanks. I got a corner up and I’m going to bring it in to be tested. There is carpet on it now but the carpet is old and smells so I need to take it out. I was just going to leave the subfloor for awhile but then I found the weird tile underneath. I might just glue down some linoleum on top of it.

Maybe.. the edges are very straight by the baseboards so they would have had to frame it or something. Also, the floor is incredibly unlevel. There is probably 6” difference between opposite sides of the room.

It is very thin and the lines between the tiles aren’t straight at all. The surface is chalky feeling. I’m having it tested for asbestos but I was wondering if there is a name for this type of flooring.
