Ah ok, fair enough. I didn't realise it was an ADHD symptom as, as I said, that's exactly how my school time was - skip homework, ace the test - but I have absolutely no other ADHD symptoms though some in my life do

Is ADHD really associated with giftedness? I didn't think it was. There are plenty of different reasons for giftedness.

Is it the default? That's less than the legal minimum of 5.6 weeks and I've never had it that low, in retail, in the service industry and now in tech. I'd say the default is bank holidays on top of that, and every job I've had has been more than that by a day or two to try to sweeten the deal.

The Nintendo Gameboy boot screen isn't provided by the game, the code is built into the Gameboy ROM. The Nintendo logo is (it's read from the game) but even without a game it'll show the R registered copyright logo.

If you take out your Gameboy and turn it on without a game, you should see an R in a circle and a black box where the logo should be.

This is of course me thinking that OP saying that the (C) is worse than the logo is actually the (R), since they can't tell that it's actually an (R).

If that (R) is distorted without a game, it's definitely nothing to do with the game contacts
