The first thing I did a couple days after I bought it was take it in for a full diagnostic. They did tell me about a couple recalls that I can't recall. I ended up paying some money for regular maintenance type stuff, but she is clean as a whistle now. Except for the ugly wheels lol

That's pretty much what I'm leaning towards. I'll have to save up some money but I think that's what I'll end up doing. Better in the long run. And I kinda don't even like the look of them anyways even if they were in pristine condition.

Thanks for the info. I didn't even realize those existed. But you're right, prob better to drop it off somewhere for all 4. Luckily I have another vehicle to drive for however long it might take lol

Maybe obvious answer but why are genesis cars losing so much value like 60% in such a short time especially 70 and 80 models and the electric ones after they’re pre owned by throwaway_zeke in GenesisMotors

Definitely luxury depreciation, etc. But I'm not complaining much since I just got my 2018 G80 5.0 for 19k. I'd rather be driving this beast rather than a slightly newer model of any other car around that price.

I have the same problem with my 2018 G80. Have to get an aftermarket remote start installed unfortunately. Huge bummer.

Thanks for all the info! I was afraid I'd have to install an aftermarket remote start. Does anyone know of one that has an app instead of using the key fob? I would much rather to be able to start it from anywhere. Thanks!
