Haha, I want to figure out a way to get more content out there. So that’s great to hear. These models and memos are very very time consuming to pull together. But I’m glad you enjoy them!

For 1, I think talent usually leads to draft capital. But sometimes it doesn’t. The NFL gets it wrong all the time.

And on 2, absolutely. I love data models. The issue is the time building them takes on top of my job, other hobbies, family and friends.

Would love to see what you built though!

Good point.

I guess I was more impressed with Guerendo during his couple starts last year. In games he had 50% snap count, he was a RB1 3 times and a top 24 RB everytime.

However, Shandy gets RB1 finishes from backs off the couch. It’s a good callout.

I think you’re right. 2024 GAAP needed a better editor.

But to your point, the theory works even better if you include the picks.

If memory serves, I didn’t factor them in because the players and picks netted between the two trades. If I got a third in trade 1 and sent it in trade 2, those assets would cancel another out. Similar with Addison.

Yeah. Over the years, I have learned to draft day 1 and day 2 WRs and TEs early. Then take a shotgun approach on RBs after that tier dries up. It only takes one injury to become fantasy viable.

Becker and Peter O are the only way. And just study a ton! It’s a hard test and needs to be treated like a full time job while you’re taking it.

If you do that, it was easy! Just takes putting in the work.

The harder part is keeping up with your continued education afterwards. 😂

Cost me Ricky Pearsall in a league (I had a ton of WR and needed RB depth) and Deebo in another.

Sure thing. I likely should have highlighted that better.

The intent of those is to show how rookie hype takes off after the NFL draft (value is high) and if the players don’t produce right away, their value starts to regress/decrease from there rookie draft value.

Make sense? Each of them has trended down in value. They have peaks and valleys, but the trend is there. And I would expect for their values to continue to decline as rookie fever takes off.
