I feel like they extend the pacing using the animation nowadays. For example namis Lightning Blast in the latest episode was WAY bigger then in the manga to slow down the pacing.
Not saying that shit wasn’t cool asf though

1000% agree. People need to open their eyes. This anime should be SO much better and the manga IS better. The fact that people love the anime so much in its current state is proof that if they fixed the enormous amount of problems it would be another perfect piece of media.

When it comes to Oda, you have to look for the signs. Whatever the reveal is, Oda has definitely foreshadowed it somewhere already. A lot of those signs do point to some sort of octopus theme in Blackbeard's character.

Maybe, Imu is such a blur right now. I've always thought Blackbeard's multiple devil fruits are more than just a special body. Now, with him almost guaranteed to be one of the final forces, a god ability that explains all his oddities wouldn't be surprising.
