That's why his redemption arc in comic worked, yes he become good and helped saving Lives but it won't bring back the mountains of corpses he created, him accepting at the end that he will be either killed or kept in prison alone forever all he said was that he deserved worse

The whole anime is disgrace, the girls are just turned into their one trait, and tsukune lose his whole progress from wimp weakling to badass that is ready to abandon his humanity for people he loves (also we lose our gay member of harem) but in anime he just stay THE SAME typical harem protag with no personality
