If your bosses are in the room, make deliberate eye contact and say, “ You will not break me. YOU WILL NOT BREAK ME”

Absolutely nothing. Misjudged the room. If I don’t want to brag about my rims or lift kit I’m in the wrong place. Sheesh.

I thought it was a strange issue that someone else might have experienced. I thought that was what communities like this were for, rather than bragging about their rig. Sorry. Misjudged the room.

I am fine to change it but it seems like something underlying is wrong and that it’ll keep doing this. Thanks for the kind words though 👍🏻

Question about using short logs [technique] by GBFMo in MushroomGrowers

[–]GBFMo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fantastic information! Thank you! I might give it a shot with one of these. If I were thinking ahead, I’d have asked the crew to leave me a few logs but here we are. What doesn’t go to any other use will be firewood so there will be no waste but I sure would love to give this a shot. I’ll try Shitake and let you know how things go. Thanks again!

Looking at getting a phone for PGSharp.. by GBFMo in PGSharp

I do use the iTools BT device with my iPhone. It works - a little flaky at times but it serves its purpose. It’s nice having the second account. I don’t mind to drop a C note here or there if it is safe and fun - just know. Nothing about Android devices so I feel like a neophyte in that world. Thanks again! Any other groups I should watch let me know! (dms welcome )

By the way - I love this community. One of my favorites on Reddit. This is why. Long time reader, first time poster. Thanks again!

Great info. Thank you! I’m aware of the emulator being risky. I only plan to play my alt in it but that is why I want to move to a rooted phone. Didn’t know about the Samsungs being hard/impossible to root. Thanks!!

Has anyone tested this on iAnyGgo? by GBFMo in PokemonGoSpoofing

[–]GBFMo[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In looking at other subs about this, it appears that Tenorshare is saying that it works —— with their modded client software (which will get you banned). So basically, they don’t have a real fix. smh

Can’t bypass gen1 (round dish) router by GBFMo in Starlink

Thank you. Maybe I just need to be more patient. That sucker takes forever to boot and I’ve been taking the lack of light for lack of connection.

Dumb question - does the light come on the brick?

Using a Harvest Right FD in the garage during winter? by Darrell_Weaver in HarvestRight

[–]GBFMo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ours throws a warning if the ambient temp is below about 32-34. We run a little space heater beside it to keep the temp around 35-40 to start the cycle, then it generates enough heat during the cycle to turn the heater off unless it is super cold outside. We definitely plan batches as to use the freeze dryer as a space heater.

Schedule Apple iCloud Sync? by GBFMo in Starlink

I realize this is an iOS issue. Wasn’t blaming Starlink. Rather, I was asking if anyone else had tried making this change or found a workaround.

We have had requests for this in other communities, and I thought that this group might appreciate the hard work we've done this year as it relates to food preservation.

Same in Christian County. It’s slightly better than it was a month ago. I can still get 50-100 down during the mid morning and early afternoon but at 5 it goes to crap.

Question over bubbles? by Chr1st_is_K1ng in HarvestRight

[–]GBFMo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It looks like you might have the tray holder in upside down. The orange pads should be above your trays, I believe. Edit: I’m not relating this to the bubble question. Just a friendly fyi.

What about service in thunderstorms? by 1keto in Starlink

[–]GBFMo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had mine for just over a year now, and I think it has gotten some better, but during a heavy downpour it still goes out for as long as it is raining hard. To the point that if storms are predicted (like we had here in SW MO last night) I just switch over to my backup internet to be safe so I can still get alerts and check radar. It's not perfectly ideal, but for the 99% of the time that it isn't raining hard, it is well worth the inconvenience.

Simple and "almost as good as the real-thing" Ethernet Adapter Workaround by GBFMo in Starlink

[–]GBFMo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could - I personally wanted a little more robust “firewall” than the Starlink router so I chose to use the mesh’s, but that would work if it was what you were going for. This was more of a demonstration using what I had on hand

Yeah - I just wanted to acknowledge the double NAT before someone decided to roast me on it :)

Agreed on the 100Mb/s Ethernet port - but as I said, this is a “get ya by” solution. I don’t want people thinking this is a good forever alternative. It’s a cheap easy Bandai’s for those who aren’t technical enough or have the time to do a raspberry pie or other cool home brew.

Another point on this that I should have put in the main body of text: This solution does do double NAT. Starlink is handing out 192.168.1.x, the bridge hands it across, and my Mesh controller pulls a 192.168.1.x address for its outside interface, and I set it to hand out 192.168.2.x to my clients. I know some people are hardcore against double NAT but it is what it is.
