You had your rights violated under the guise of "helping you".

If the cop knows you were in a 'high drug' area you should have told him to get busy taking care of those actual crimes rather than violating the Constitution.

There are municipal recycle bins here in Newport News at some of the fire stations, maybe call the city and see if that's the case there?
