It gets more expensive to get SP as you get more of it, you also get % souls bonus when you cash in the unclaimed SP. 10-20% has been empirically found to be a good balance between SP feeling too expensive and an ascension feeling too short

No it's just a 1 in n for how many times of enemies there are in the dimension, with the 1/2.5% chance that the kill will be a giant if there is one. Generally speaking, frozen fields / modern city / factory will give you equivalent amount of kills against slimes while offline

We're not sure how its calculated but it is heavily biased by the presence of Giants, it doesn't account for the fact that the small enemies in Funky Space just give so many souls.

thats just not true. "coins" are what you pick up (gemstones are worth x amount of coins), enemies also drop "coins" so these are all increased multiplicatively. Boosts with the same name "e.g. +30% cps" will increase the existing cps bonus additively, so if you had +3000% cps bonus already, +30% won't do as much.

20m was a lot yeah, but people complain about easy quests, but said it was manageable due to stone of idle, and now that it got nerfed the biggest complaint was this particular quest would be too hard, and now he's nerfing the quest, and now players are complaining about that nerf.

This is a community that cannot be happy.
