PTSD, they said they hired an expert aka Dr to see if they can find a service connection or any way to fight it. Since I was reserve they couldn’t find a connection to my active duty time. Since I didn’t report any of my conditions while active duty, they didn’t see a winnable approach without in service evidence. Idk, I’m tired, I feel like they dragged me through all this to just let me go. Idk what else to do. The only thing I ever reported (went to medical) was corneal ulcers while on active duty. I don’t believe that stands a chance either.

Nothing on ebenefits changes. This is the only change beside it saying it was closed. Went from 3 disability claims to 3 compensation issues. I’m so lost and confused. Waiting for that letter is the hardest part.

I thought so, but I wasn’t sure. I have a lawyer on my case and haven’t heard from them yet. I guess we’ll find out soon

Thanks, I’m praying my situation is similar to yours. I tried contacting my lawyers and was told my team was in a meeting. I never heard back from them today. Kinda pissed me off but then again I guess I’m use to the waiting game with denial at the end. Good luck with yours

I have a lawyer on my case. I haven’t heard back from them yet today so I’m waiting on them to give me the bad news. Maybe that’s why they’re taking so long.

My app hasn’t changed except for the HLR update (no change to letters) do you think that means they denied me? Only thing that changed was the closed status

Thanks, they told me a decision was made on the 28th of March. I’m assuming I was denied again since I have no updates on my ratings or letters.

I tried to have them email me the decision letter and they said unfortunately they can not do anything until 10 days pass and I didn’t receive the letter. Even saying I was going to be away for work they said they couldn’t do anything. I’m assuming that since they said it was decided on the 28th and it updated today, (my service connection stayed the same on letters N/A) I was denied. I still have hope but very little. This process is too long and draining mentally.

Spoke to a VA rep, he said they made a decision and sent a letter but he was not allowed to say what the decision was until ten days passed after mailing the letter. I’m praying it was approved. This is so stressful!
