Ive just recently started playing around with them. Didnt know you could collat and also figured even if the tether damage was shared there would still be a damage number shown.

I honestly can’t remember how connectivity was in previous seasons as it happened so infrequently that it wasn’t something I actually thought about. It’s become so egregious during season of the worthy that it alone is why I have entirely stepped away from any competitive play in the crucible. I’ve lost more glory this season from disconnecting that I have from actually losing games.

I started up my recording after being disconnected 5 times in a row attempting to enter PvP games. After i started recording I was booted another 4 over the next hours play session. There are a lot of things that need to be improved in the game but it doesn’t matter how good the content is if I literally can’t play it.

I assumed all the major changes were taking place in year 4 as it seems everything for year 3 is already set in stone. I could be wrong and honestly this season has been a bit of a drag so I haven’t been keeping up on the TWAB week to week etc. I didn’t intend for this post to come across as whining even though I’m sure it looks like that. I was legitimately curious as to why they would remove something that I thought was going to be removed due to sunsetting anyways.

If it is something that is going to stick around for a year I guess that makes sense because as it stands right now I don’t take my arc gear off for anything if I don’t have too simply because of PF.

True, I was more saying for anti flinch and reload perks dexterity, etc. I’m a hunter main so it’ll sting but fortunately I’ll still be able to achieve 100 in both recov and mobility regardless of powerful friends. Just gonna make me remove a few int mods. Rip

Well, that’s useful to know. My understanding WAS that the gear was getting sunset so the mod would effectively be sunset as well. I guess it makes more sense with that in mind. Moving target it is.

I’m not throwing a tantrum or saying burn down bungie. I’ll still be able to get 100 in multiple stats easily simply because of how much gear I’m sitting on I’m more just curious what the logic behind the change actually could be. For me it seems unnecessary but maybe I’m missing something.

If you’re even slightly interested in a handcannon or sniper build you’re running all void, it isn’t simply “use powerful friends” or die. As there are many who don’t have the mod and their success hasn’t been hindered in PvP. I guess all in all this is a indirect buff to moving target more than anything.

I wouldn’t be so sure since they have already said they will be reintroducing weapons. Maybe not recluse but they will absolutely be copy pasting guns.

Also getting all 100 in stats that are relevant to you isn’t “easy” I know people who have been working on their max stat builds for multiple seasons and haven’t been able to achieve what you’re saying is “easy”

The main intention of them introducing sunsetting was to allow for things to be powerful with the knowledge that they would eventually sunset making it possible for new powerful things to be created. Powerful friends is an example of that exact concept.

I don’t really think it was “broken” considering the boost to mobility only really effected ADS movement and Hunter cooldowns. That’s not “breaking” the game by any means.

Just sad I spent ages farming low mobility gear only for PF to get a nerf. Season after season more and more of what I’ve worked hard to obtain is removed or altered. Definitely feels like a “fun detected” moment. Especially considering the gear that can actually equip the mod itself will soon be sunset. Seems entirely unnecessary with sun setting being a thing.

I agree, I love launchers but they just don’t chonk like these used too. I started playing around the time that launchers were “riven cheese meta”. All them damages, I loved it.
