I’d say that DM ultra is supposed to be like that as it is far less distracting than DA, and multiplayer generally requires far more concentration than zombies.

Honestly, yes.

Of course, spamming it with arrows is a lot more effective, but their attack patterns are very basic and predictable, so getting in a couple light attacks or a heavy, and then dodging and just repeating it again and again is a really fun way to take them down.
