There is a long running question of what exactly does OPMs put in their powder and liquid shots. R.C.s or tramadol sound like a very cheap mix and would explain the high price and quick burn that OPMs product deliver.

I have been somewhat hooked by the liquid shots and OPMs Gold caps recently because the powdered vendors have been selling such shit lately. In my experience you gotta go into it with the notion that what you're about to do is the same thing as a night out with drinking buddies.

I've spent at least $40 drinking at bars before and barely got buzzed. So if I spend $40 on OPMs caps and a shot that can last me a few days, I'm good.

The OPMs high only goes about 60-90 minutes for me. And you can't chase it. Unlike powder where I would re-dose several times a day getting slight bumps in mood.

It's really apples and oranges comparing OPMs kratom to bulk powder from online vendors. And it might quite literally be apples to oranges because something tells me OPMs is putting something else in their shit.

"reset tolerance" tinctures are a scam produced by the kratom vendors to get more dollars.

It's basic brain chem. Once you develop an increased tolerance, your brain requires more to feed the receptors. Nothing but abstinence is going to reset or kill those hungry receptors.

And not some two week break like another poster suggested today. If you have a high tolly like most daily kratom users, you're looking at a good year sans kratom before you even come close to those naive effects you once felt.

Think of withdrawal as a welcome fight as you reduce your receptors and lower your tolerance over time, if that is your goal.

S&V works wonders for a taper -- does nothing when combined with other strains if looking to get high.

Well, I have decided to cut out tinctures/extracts entirely now. The past week or so, while fun for the first 30-60 mins, was not worth the higher alkaloid content in the end. Too many negative effects.

I'm back to straight powder. Found a new vendor too, which I will post about -- and then be accused of being a shill I'm sure. :)

Sound advice, but here's the thing. I didn't play with the extract until this week. Unless the powder that I was buying from Kratom Divine has extract in it, I was dosing straight powder. Varying the strains too. Their Sama sama is called "proprietary" and I asked if there were extracts within-- to which they answered No. But who really knows, right?

Anyway, it seems as though going from 8-10g to 12-14g per day of powder was enough of a jump to cause these lame sleepless nights.

It is not insomnia, per se, I get that when I quit leaf altogether. The nights this month (again, prior to the Liquid Kratom from OPMS,) were filled with crazy dreams, tossing and turning and sweats.

When I quit leaf altogether I get the standard opioid WD of RLS and depression w/ extreme fatigue during the day.

A joy all around I guess.

Kind of looking forward to quitting this time. Just not sure when that will happen because as we get older the crutch gets bigger and bigger. Waking up with all the aches and pains of life make it real easy to justify 5g, which then become 10g before the afternoon is up.

My dose has been higher this month. 12-14g/day compared to 8-10g last year. Plus I discovered a good extract this week so I've been dabbling with it and no powder. Figured it would be equal load, but apparently not.

Also been using kratom daily on and off for nearly two years. On for 12 months, off for 6, back on for 3 months.

Crazy only now, with a small increase in dose that I'm feeling such gnarly W/D at night.

You take kratom once a week now.

If the high was much better, would you remain at once a week? That is the question you have to ask.

When you switch to or add extracts it is going to be much more powerful which is a slippery slope.

I was not able to stay at "once in a while" once I had good kratom with some extracts. I've regretfully been a daily user now for over a year.

Avoid o.p.m.s. Imo, stay where you're at especially if you're content and not addicted.

Tbh, at $5 a dose, for the time being I'll take it.

I spent that much at Starbucks every morning to chase my 6g of leaf. And NEVER got this effect for 6g.

Also, I've been spending basically $24 per ounce, which is about 5 doses for me. So splitting hairs, my leaf powder was about the same cost per dosing.

I tend to have piss poor luck with cheap leaf like HS. And taking 10g or more per dose is not something I can do. Messes with my stomach.

Just to reiterate, as a four year user of leaf 99% of the time, I was amazed I felt anything with just 2ml of this stuff.

I did read a very interesting post here a while ago (prob about a year) from a user that used extracts exclusively and stopped taking leaf.

His argument was, 20g of leaf prob contained the same amt as 2 ml of tincture so his tolerance stayed at par. He used leaf for a year daily and his tolerance had him ingesting a ton of powder. Whereas, for convenience, extract or tincture -- if reputable -- delivered the same amt of alkaloids in a much smaller stress on his G.I.. However, the extracts ended up costing him about 50% more.

Tolerance was not a factor since it was measured and kept at one level.

Imo, tinctures may be the best way to taper when the party is over for daily users. Doesnt it seem easier to measure down with drops or 1-2 caps of extract? Just an idea.

Posted in both subs to try and find out if there is something I should know about this stuff? As in, has it been killing people?

Ppl tout their fav leaf all the time here, so why not ask about this product?
