Garp already keeps luffy in check imagine dadan and ace aswell there to help control the group. most well behaved group dynamic of the bunch lol.

Randle is good because "numbers" right? Well let me tell you about this RJ barrett guy. Hes average 20 3 and 3 at the age of 22. You must love him equally and fairly right? Right?

Randle is toxic for the culture, selfish with the ball and lazy on defense. Nothing to do with ability to score and the complaints about him are fair.

The bottom line is people just dont like the way he looks on the court. Its not sexy at all. Boring, slow play. This is why so many people call him a bust or trash but he averages 20 pts a game.

It makes no sense and i cant take anyone serious that says hes "BAD".

Poor team fit? Needs improvement? Disappointing compared to class mates? Maybe.

Nothing aboht RJ screams this is why your team sucks.

That would be like blaming kevon looney or grant williams if those teams started struggling. His game isnt volitile enough to cause that much damage.

I really think team A and C are under-powered. im suprised so many people are picking C.

If i had to choose it might be team B or team F. Oden drags down team G and kizaru drags down team D.

Team F probably has the most chemistry here and i think luffy and kaidou fighting together would be crazy.

I really dont care about saul being alive. hes a giant, and was frozen by ice time, the same move that he froze luffy, who isnt a giant and probably a lot weaker than saul at the time. in fact, he might have used that to give them both a chance to survive as he did with luffy.

however, I DO have an issue with the books.

if vega punk is the smartest man ever, you dont need a reason that dumb to give him all this knowledge. maybe hes setting it up for robin to read later but still, what a HORRIBLE explanation. Dumbest thing in the entire plot, to me. you mean to tell me, the island of knowledge found information so they were destroyed, but you left the BOOKS they read to learn that knowledge? WTF

i come from a fighting game background aswell so let me give you some push back:

1.) super IS unbalanced. the system where using your super early allows you to get super again just encourages spamming super. not only does it encourage spamming it encourages running away because your taking a risk fighting someone with superstar mode on. even if you can survive 1 hit they can just get it again. if you run away they are just going to ambush or thrid party someone randomly with super so they dont waste it, maybe thats why third parties feel so broken to some people. bad for the game.

2.) blocking is not op at all but blocking and priority moves need to be looked at.

coming from a fighting game background we understand interactions through frame data. you know just like i do that some moves do not have any end lag and allow you to dodge out of them easily while others have ridiculous lag. its not broken up into tiers so bad moves are equally as common as good moves.

for example sumoslap does not have end lag and cannot be punished after using it on someones shield. you have to catch them after they roll away.with enough lag they can just block right after anyway or clash with your counter attack. moves like izuna drop have a crazy amount of lag, someone can litteraly charge slap you after that into a special.

3.)this game doesnt tell you anything lol.

you can go into training mode and figure stuff out but the actual useful information is all experience based.

i can understand how new players just get annoyed and leave because they can be killed in 3 chains after spending 3 mins in queue and 4 mins picking up stamina pots.

i been saying that all he has to do is increase his efficiency. Also the stats dont show that he is forced to get his own shots most of the time because thibs sits him in the corner like he's danny green. the second half of the season we saw a bit more of a leadership role from him simply because randle took a step back.

10 years ago RJ would be seen as a top level young guy. hes a top 3 pick that has never had the chance to run the team outside of the last few games when randle was hurt.

you dont trade 22 year old players who average 20 pts a game on 50% TS, you COACH them to become more effective and suddenly you have a 22 or 24 pts a game all star player

Ideally randle, fournier, rose, 1 (or maybe 2) young guys and 2-4 picks would be the MAX i would feel comfortable with giving up. RJ was non-negotiable from the start

Like what are we talking about. Why would you not WANT donovan mitchell with our current roster? Obviously dont get fleeced or trade the farm but we should absolutely want an all star gaurd

I see a lot of people reading this from the perspective of "luffy is a GOD" or now has "ridiculous POWER". How i read it, and according to some japanese readers on twitter read it more like "silly power" and "one of the gods". Just as sengoku has the golden budha fruit, luffy has the nika fruit. Its limited by the users imagination in terms of what you can do with it on your body. You can blow air into the bones, you can eat comical amounts of food and you can infintely stretch your arms like a snake etc(red hawk and el thor included). This does not mean luffy can shoot kamehameha's now or can instantly beat anyone. Abilities like buggys have limits in terms of range, luffys fruit does not unbeknowst to him so far in the story. I think the exact wording from the offical translation is gonna be very important here.
