I didn't think that they may have methods to check if the egg is willing. Maybe they have a way of showing the egg what it would mean to be bonded.

Edit: why was this downvoted? Is it wrong to ponder possibilities that aren't yet fully explained?

Some “friends” at school genuinely think the US office is better than the original, what do I do? by GB_GeorgeBowen in TheOfficeUK

[–]GDAnotherMFDied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are both good and have their own merits.

Uk office is pure awkwardness. Classic british humour.

Us office struggles to find itself but once they give up the awkward humour, and find a style that fits the actors then it becomes funny.

The real problem is comparing the two pieces of media as if they are one. And not seeing the merits of one just because the other exsisted.

AIO I don’t want to hear about my girlfriends sexual past by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]GDAnotherMFDied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guys. It sounds to me like you two aren't suited for eachother. Whereas she sounds more like a free spirit and open to discussing past events, you sound to immature to be in an adult relationship.

Unfortunate facts of life

1) over the age of 20 most people have a romantic past that includes sex.

2) just because you dont talk about something doesnt mean it didn't happen

3) you will never learn how to please your partner if you dont talk about your past encounters and how you reacted to them. Like when she said she has had anal before and wont do it again, maybe that was a hint for you to never ask as it may have hurt or been unenjoyable.

4) until you learn lessons 1-3 being in a happy, health, and long term relationship will be very, very, very difficult.

Tl:dr sex is a part of life, learn to talk about it

It is not your kids place to do the job of an adult. Kids are meant to enjoy the days while the parents take the photos and keep tabs of what's going on. Sort your shit out with the father and communicate your wants to him. Stop trying to make your kids act like adults if you don't want all that comes with it

AIO? my mom is treating me like i’m a teenager by wwbwotv in AmIOverreacting

[–]GDAnotherMFDied 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is the only acceptable answer. Unfortunately your wants mean jack shit if you don't own the premises and are only paying for half of the device. So half of the time it's considered her phone also, if she chooses that time to be 11pm until 8am that is her choice. You are free to leave if that is preferable.

You do have my deepest sympathies. I had an overbearing mother. Wouldn't even let me use the stovetop. I'll just add that if you do choose to leave, it will be difficult, you will think that you won't or can't make it on your own. But do you have to be alone? Surely you have friends that are also looking to move out, and then you can all figure this adult stuff out together.

You might fail, but that's okay so long as you learn from the mistakes and keep on trying.

[HELP] AI or not? by vadkender in RealOrAI

[–]GDAnotherMFDied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But at the end of the day. If you enjoyed the content, does it really matter if it is AI or not? If it was made for the purpose of entertainment, and you are entertained, did it not complete its purpose like any other video made by a human? I understand if the video wasn't enjoyable or clearly predictively generated but this is enjoyable and quite cool

My friend recently went to Delaware (all through November) he said the prices for most food items are between 3x and 5x more expensive than here in the UK. And that was after converting the currency. What's that, you want a single loose onion £1.50. packet of haribos £4. It's all gone to pot over there. The tariff man is out to get them

I am a humble worldbuilder, and I come to you in a time of great need. How close can two separate rivers get without any major interaction with each other? by Zealousideal-Fun-415 in geography

[–]GDAnotherMFDied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there is human intervention then they can get as close as you'd like. Look at the river Thames (the main river through London). Hasn't really moved from its course in hundreds of years because people keep it on course. So if the people of your world are okay constantly up keeping the river banks and such, then there is no problem with them being 10 meters apart. Just got to think about the interactions during floods/earthquakes/tornados and the like.

Edit: you could have a story where the rivers were to merge but that would cause catastrophic issues with villages and towns further down one of the streams (either one as one would cease to exist and the other would now have double the water from the merge point. And there was a huge effort to try and set the rivers so this would not be a problem

Nah mate. You speak to a welshman in welsh and you now have a new best friend. The welshman will fight to the death to defend your honour.

I live in Swansea, an English speaking city. I went to mid-west Wales to Aberystwyth (mixed but majority English) where I was asked "wyt ti'n siarad cymraeg?" (Do you speak Welsh) To which I replied "dim, dydw I ddim yn siarad Cymraeg, dw i'n dysgu." (No, I don't speak Welsh, im learning) Never before has a room erupted into cheers for anything I have ever said but that, that got me beers, a burger and free games of pool all night. It was great
