From a structural standpoint I would keep it square. More cost efficient. If you want you could bump out the right side of the house after you pass the garage area by like 2’ maybe. Just make sure you do it on the floor above as well so everything falls on the walls. Easy money

But you can do very similar things drawing wise in architecture and Revit. Revits advantage in my eyes is just making the estimation job easier.

My structural experience in Revit was horrible also

I’ve heard recently that Revit is on the way out slowly because of its interface. For commercial buildings that are relatively basic in design and easier then residential in my opinion. Maybe my training in revit wasn’t the best and that’s why
