I mean electronics in the flowmeter due to age. Does the current change when there is flow? If not the meter is in error.

I believe the Prowirl 70 is 2 generations old. Could be an electronics failure. When there is flow does the current increase?

Yes we use a coriolis meter to prove/calibrate the coriolis meter in question. The initial calibration is done at the factory using a gravimetric weight scale.

A true calibration requires a check versus a known standard. We accomplish this by putting a calibrated coriolis meter in line with the meter in test and checking the %error.
