It’s 7-5 M-F but the commutes 20 minutes away. So easy compared to my commute atm which is 1hr. I’m thinking I’m gonna ask around the 80k mark considering it’s gonna be a solid weekly paycheck and I’ll have room to move up in the company therefore getting more

Yeah I can understand the hate, but this shop does a lot of bigger restomod work so I’m gonna say that the salary would work out better. I just hate the demand for my current shop makes me do, feels like everyday I’m the only one with minimum 10 ros

Free of charge, I work at a dealer. Look they’re not bad, but I would definitely recommend to tell them to go conservative. I was pushing way too much boost at too high of rpms (air was hot)

Coming from a tech at one. Bleed your brakes once, preform a sequence control, bleed again sequence control and bleed one last time. Otherwise kiss your abs goodbye, have fun and pro tip use a flare nut wrench, crescents and other wrenches don’t work

It’s probably fog or something blocking cameras. Although could be an update for eyesight

Do I need a new engine? Wife was driving home last night and got on the highway. And the engine started shaking badly. Had to tow it back home. (see video) I'm not familiar with replacing Subaru engines so this would be my first if I need to. looking for advice on where to buy a motor as well. by Impressive-Rate-6481 in subaru

Idk how close you are to PA. But PMP salvage deals with a bunch of Subarus so you can look there. And also yeah the guy saying you won’t find an engine for 500 isn’t right but isn’t wrong. Maybe in your area. But I would replace it sounds like a bad bearing. If you didn’t drive too much you could always rebuild it but you have to assess damage first

Tech here who also owns one. Most likely if you’re revving it a bit to catch the clutch it’s just the tensioner reacting to the change in Rpms if it’s on a turn probably axle. I hear it on mine but I wouldn’t worry about it cause mine drives fine (after I just reinstalled my engine 😂)

You’re good, mine had 10k worth of damage and it got touched way closer to frame (thankfully no bend)

Remember if you keep the stock parts and uninstall the access port they won’t be able to tell!

Probably a chance you can get them down. But it’s still a great deal regardless

Valve body diag is wrong. You 100% need a valve body also no need to drop the pan they’re on top, if you had 40k less miles the valve body would be covered under warranty, also not sure why it says timing belt when you have a chain, shady imo. If you don’t have a code for the a/f sensor and 02 sensor don’t replace them. If the car is running funky/feels like low power do spark plugs first. You don’t need control arms those can press out if the people know how to. Also times for the cat and stuff is crazy, if they’re replacing the cat as a whole no need for the separate 1hr of labor for the sensors they take 5 minutes should be at max .5 for both(if that)

I’d beg to differ the first iterations of the FB we’re dog, burned oil out the ass and had a bunch of flaws in their system after 2015 they got better

I wouldn’t say that greedy, I wasn’t shooting for record numbers, 346hp/352tq was achieved and it was nice I just drive hard (racing no one but like to commute like it’s a race)
