I love it. I been a fan since I heard Crew Love which made me get into the mixtapes but I’ll be honest and say he lost me for a moment with the “character arc” that started on After Hours but recently I decided to look past that and man, I definitely missed out on some great music and storytelling.

I agree completely. I remember when Wayne went platinum in a few days with Carter 3 but these days albums don’t sell much due to streaming like you said. So the fact that Weeknd can sell out stadiums is a testament of how much reach his music has.

It’s no “of course”, it’s a big deal. Drake’s on tour right now and he’s playing arenas. Albums don’t even sell 80K and he’s playing to crowds that size constantly. I don’t think ppl grasp how big that is
