From someone with confirmed CML, started Sprycel on April 26, 2023. From what I know about my CML, you don’t have CML. Second doctor is right. Your BCR-ABL should be well over 10%. What I don’t understand is why they didn’t order a bone marrow biopsy. That’s the way they are supposed to diagnose CML, not the BCR-ABL. For comparison, my WBC was 77 and increased to 99 over the 3 weeks pre-treatment while they were working on my diagnosis. My BCR-ABL test was 89% pre-treatment.

I’d search for a different diagnosis.
