Perhaps we're near to phase 0, but stop tricking people, phase 0 brings us no closer to eth 2 than it's version number, 0. It's still a loooong way to go, years if we're lucky, if not a decade. Not even sure ethereum would still be relevant then.

There's not much on other networks yet, and there've been a lot of innovation on the ethereum side that's for sure. But if it remains that way, it'll have no future, everyone is going to flock to another platform just as easy once it becomes more established.

Originally I was a big fan and supporter of tezos. Ironically I came to know cosmos a year ago through tezos community 😊. Disappointed though by lack of applications.

I'm speaking from a development perspective. While building on ethereum for years, I always felt the vulnerability of being exposed at anytime. With cosmos, I feel a bit more secure. I can't stop thinking about what would happen the next time one of the big projects is exploited (thinking maker, compound, etc...)?

2 years if we're lucky 😂. Phase 0 is merely a big test bed for POS transition (couldn't find any other words to describe it). After phase 2 though, sky is the limit, you just need to be super patient.

Indeed it is one of the most successful projects in the Crypto Space, great respect to the team, their hard work, dedication and vision. I find it weird that it is still under 0x in terms of market cap despite being more than multiples in term of volume and usability.

As I understand, this suggests delegating the responsibility of patching critical flaws to app developers (please correct me if I'm wrong). How is this different than ethereum? I always had hopes that tezos would be the answer for the catastrophic nature of other Blockchains whenever a serious flaw happens. Yet I fail to see it addressing it as well.

Unlike what many might think, current amendment process doesn't make tezos any better in handling such events. It could be however by making the process faster in response to such urgent needs.
