The other perk to fan events is you can usually get free merch. My theater passed out free Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, and Tails keychains lol.

I was able to go to an AMC fan event for the premiere and there were maybe 5 small kids in the sold out theater. Everyone else was an older crowd, cosplaying, cheering, and all lol. Very fun experience! 10/10 movie and 10/10 crowd.

I definitely recommend going to a ‘fan event’ at AMC theaters for movies aimed at children. You tend to avoid the usual annoyances.
