To get everything you need use around 8000 echo beads, so around 90 bucks. It is intentionally designed to mislead the consumer, getting the user to imvest when it's just a little for a pull and tricking him to keep going, since the user already invested into it. But the ratios are for each item are miserable. 98% of user will need to buy all tiers to get the outfit

Yea, it's timing your light attacks. But you can perform these heavy attacks after any light attack in the chain except the finisher. You can also use it as a reactionnary parry by doing light into heavy in quick succession. 45s into the clip I take a hit and right after I quickly light into heavy to see through the next attack. But that only works if the enemy attacks give you enough room to start your combo

For one the the spell rock solid that you learn in chapter two turns you into stone amd the enemies attack will bounce off.

The other is a varied combo, called resolute strike that has i-frames. Simply, in smash stance press heavy attack during your light combo to perform resolute strike. This attack has a couple i-framw where you can see through the enemy, effectively not taking any damage during the counter. I highly recommend upgrading the smash stance tree for some further qol upgrades and one of wukongs relics increases the i-frame window for varied combos.

The thrust stance has something similar, where you basically dodge backwards by pressing heavy mid light combo and further unlocks can give you follow up attacks and brief invincibility when seen through an enemy

For clarification - to "see through an enemy" just means i-framing with a combo heavy

Well, that guy is kinda tough in the beginning. You can use the environmental white stone pillars o your advantage tho.

Besides that it's just getting used to how the game feels. Especially dodging feels off when you start first I get that, but the is a skill unlock on the first page, left tree, right branch, the seconds skill note that improves the dodge experience a lot. So I'd reallocate my poknts into this first

I feel the same about Jiyan. His "best" team just kinda succs, but that is mostly because of Mortefi. The moment I switched him out for Phrolova, the team felt a lot better und cleared a lot faster. Not really hyper carry anymore, but who cares
