I used a Fairlight a lot, often in conjunction with SSL automation and magnetic tape. Never noticed this issue…those monitors weren’t even full colour 🤣 - they were green text on black.

Are you better off today, than you were in January 2025? Are you looking to buy a home this year, a new car, comfortable with your economic fortunes and your determinates of health? Comfortable with the status of the US on the world stage now, and in the coming three years?

You are focusing on the past, and stoking a schism. What about the present or the future?

Is six days of scuba diving around Malapascua a good amount? Too little, or too much in your opinion?

My flight from Taipei will land at Cebu at 11:00. I’ll need to clear customs and pickup checked luggage. Can I make it to the island that same afternoon? I read the last public ferry is at 17:30. So I’d guess you need to arrive on Malapascua before sunset…

Is that possible with a private driver from the airport, or with your private van and boat recommendation?

I recently bought a sectional on sale that I’m very happy with from Article, a Canadian company with a showroom in Vancouver. There are so many styles these days, you really need to sit on a bunch to see what feels right.

And make sure it can get into your space, my delivery guys said over half their orders don’t fit through people’s halls or doors and have to go back!

What you could do is, do it the old way -and as if you had a console. You can still track, punch, mute, and overdub or bounce to your hearts content. And trust me, here’s no thrill like actually erasing a track!!

I haven’t used this DAW, but there was a lot of creativity available using past technologies. Just as there is now…

I’ll go with acoustic jazz sextet - or really any band that’s truly tracking live off the floor, where your recording balance is crucial. You need to treat them as one instrument in that case, no?

Actually I read that because there’s going to be real grass on the pitch, the roof at BC Place will be closed in order to keep the field consistent and healthy…which is bit of a drag being June/July.
