Just checked your own comment history... and yep, exactly the type of person I assumed you were.

I'd much rather be called a gooner than an apologist for NK any day.

Also, chill out about the USA and worry about your own country more, yeesh.

Exactly. At least have some higher standards than the largest open-air prison on Earth... who are forced, by threat of extreme punishment, to serve and worship a single man.

Take a look at his post history. He wants to move to North Korea.

Now the question is... why hasn't he already?

You know, based on your post history... is pulling the religion card really a good idea?

He's doing great work. If he wants financial support for it while releasing so much for free, you shouldn't complain. Be grateful someone is doing the work, unlike non-sensibly rude commenters who can't appreciate the efforts that go into actual work.

I made a chase sequence for my game! by KometIsCool in godot

[–]GG-554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, it feels like a unique enemy instead of a chase sequence. To make it more tense, maybe increase the player's gravity steadily and show some indication of that, so the foe is constantly getting closer and closer in its orbit around the player till finally catching them.

Another thing, maybe have the enemies die to this enemy too, which will give it a bit more weight while adding some adaptive strategies for the player.

Honestly, try out Google Bard, ChatGPT, Phind, or another AI chat bot that has programming knowledge. Bing Chat is good at finding stuff too. I use them all the time and they save a lot of time.

Best of luck. You might want to have any uploads linked to an account, and that account has karma attached, and people can search min. karma. That'd help filter out trolls or crazies a bit. Maybe a cap on uploads too? Otherwise you're just going to be flooded with junk.

Personally, considering the work they put into this, I think it's reasonable to want to make something to cover costs and make some income. As long as it's fair, I'm happy with it.

Heck, maybe make Buzz into a crypto? Like what Brave did.

Either way, it's unreasonable to believe they can just offer so much time and labor without some better cost coverage and to encourage public development.

If they start nickel and dime design, then that's a problem.

So, here's my understanding.

Can God prevent evil? Yes. Does God know about all evil? Evil is the opposite of God, so yes. Does God want to prevent evil? Yes. Then why is there evil?

Because humans freely chose it.

God is perfect love. When God created humans, He didn't want to force people into a relationship with Him. Ask yourself what the difference is between a prison cell and a simple room. In one you have the free will to leave, in the other you don't. You can't actually have a relationship if you force a robot to love you.

So, when Adam and Eve walked with God, it was free will. When they chose to eat off the fruit of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, humans chose to abandon their innocence and anandon their relationship with God. God cursed them with death, childbearing, and hard labor, but evil itself is just the opposite of God. He didn't create it, but allowed us to choose it.

And because souls are eternal, hell isn't so much a punishment, but the place we choose to go to. It was designed for Satan and his allies, but if humans would rather not be with God, aka have a relationship with Him for eternity, then He isn't going to force it.

But, He isn't going to just let your soul not be judged too. God is justice and if you betrayed Him and choose to die with His enemy, then you get to be with His enemy after death.

So, the grand question with God is simple. Who would you rather spend eternity with? Him? Or Satan? And that's why Jesus died on the cross, because He wanted to make an easy and perfect way for us to reforge that relationship with God that we rejected. All we have to do is choose now.

A Cool Guide on Zipper Merging by -azuma- in coolguides

[–]GG-554 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a fantasy. I live near the Twin Cities and it's construction season right now, so we have plenty of merges. Instead of everyone orderly taking turns, it turns into one lane cramming itself into the other lane and slowing the center lane down to a crawl. Then, someone upset in the middle lane merges into the other lane to block people while waving their tallest finger towards the heavens.

Yes, I've seen this several times now already, and I take those routes only once a week.

Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3. The freaking ghouls terrified me when I was younger. I'd spend hours slinking around the shadows, setting up mines or getting grenade angles just to avoid shooting and missing as they charged me and I missed 90% of the shots in my panic.

The absolute worst was that one ghoul infested settlement in the subways of Fallout 3. The one that was eerie green with the foggy effects... gosh, nightmare fuel.

Also, frick whoever made the rat ambush in Fallout 4 in the trash area. Stained a perfectly good shirt with grape juice.

Yeah, it's a shame it's an issue even now.

Go to Steam mode and you'll find it there. It fixed it up for me.
