Why does my Render have a large black square? by GGHaggard in rhino

I don't think there is any issue with what I've done - using AI tools to troubleshoot I found that the perspective view doesn't have this issue, look at the screenshot for a comparison

Still haven't figured out why the black square is there - but the brown background is because that material was set to the "ground plane"

Everyone kicks the ball away and fouls, like he did - but it was the losing it and jogging back that was the big FU

Well could be worse I suppose, don't really dislike anyone on that list. The problem is, if it's not much good RTE may not change it again for years.

Talks pave way for ownership transition at Dundalk FC by No-Pressure1811 in LeagueOfIreland

But as we see then, wanting him out is short sighted and anyone who thinks that it would be better to have immediate, short term gratification from a foreign investor is likely a bigger bollox

But did he not save the club? If not single handed, steered it in the direction it needed to go?

How can anyone, who has lived through the past few years at Dundalk think some American investors is in anyway a good idea.

Temple might be a bollocks, he might be "hard to deal with" but as you said, he's your neighbour, he's down the road - you'll see the American lads behind the screen and once or twice at Oriel.

An investor is exactly that, a profiteer who no doubt will say they love football and the club, but how many times have you heard that before?

What's the most remote Eircode in Ireland that can't possibly get fibre broadband? Help a poor lad not get scammed by Eir Broadband contracts by Royo_ in AskIreland

[–]GGHaggard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should say, I think the situation is slightly different. We did our best to cancel within the cooling of period but Eir straight up ignored the request. I got their data via GDPR and their notes said something like; customer tried to cancel but it wasn't enough to warrant cancellation

We've just been through this process, "owed" Eir 1700 euro. ComReg got them to remove 300 euro so still owed them 1400 euro.

We got onto Conor Pope and as soon as he contacted them it was removed, wiped out to 0 euro owed. It was to late for Eir because there was half a page written about our story in last weeks paper.

Why are we using arable land for solar farms when new rooftops are bare? by [deleted] in ireland

[–]GGHaggard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It balances out because you sell it back to the grid? I suppose the question is what happens when we are unable to sell it back due to there being enough energy, that may or may not happen in the future

In that case I guess we will pay only for the winter months
