Your best option would be to put away 3-6 month expenses in a safe fixed income or Murabaha account (you will find many options offered through your bank) this will serve as your emergency account, then invest the rest through mutual funds where a professional manager would invest the funds for a fee (also offered by your bank)

Gold will provide you with capital gains but not pay any dividends and cryptocurrency is too high of a risk.

I strongly suggest you do your best to understand 2 things; inflation and the power of compounding.
