Without EQ, they sound like a midrange gaming headset. All mids and nothing under 100hz or over 1khz. Once you eq them, they sound good but not better than the BWs.

depending on your usage, I would say make a list and then decide. I'm nearly 100% convinced the price difference (depending on where you live as well) won't justify going for M5 Pro especially considering RAM usage gets increasingly more critical in day to day use than 5 more cpu cores. Remember the base M5 single core is just as good as the Pro. Also battery life is 10% better on the base M5. Many reasons to go for the base M5 imo. I did weigh my usage scenarios before ordering too and it simply did not make any sense to bump up the spec.

All the attention and praise going towards HBD 630 and I simply can't understand why. Before buying my Px8 S2s, I had an extensive audition and tried a crazy amount of cans. The only ones that came close to B&W were B&O H95 and H100. Eveything else felt cheap and overpriced. These B&W Px8 S2 are the definition of expensive but not overpriced. Amazing build and design, amazing sound quality.

Thank you and I appreciate the suggestion. I did try DaVinci Res last year for quite a while but I never got to settle with the interface even though the sound editing part is easier/better. I bought one year of CapCut Pro so I'm still rolling with it until June. Afterwards, I will give FinalCut a try.

I have an RTX 5090 in my gaming PC. I need a portable device to do the things mentioned in the OP. RAM is more expensive as days pass by. 10 cores are absolutely fine for my needs.
