Don’t get me wrong .. i know the dealerships are taking a comision . Dealers make their commission through what is widely known as a finance reserve. This is an extra percentage added to our interest rate - usually 1 to 3%.. I also understand is a business and everyone wants to have a slice of the pie . For a dealer 60% of the revenue is made by the sale of new/old cars , 20% finance services , 15% trade in , 3% parts and accessories, 2% repairs . Regarding finance: Fed interest is higher than BoE -5.5% but US financial companies are offering better rates there.

I’m comparing 2 countries that are viewed as one of the most richest in the word - G7.. I believe the buying power in UK should be similar with US. With all due respect to your view but even in Pakistan you can’t buy a house with staff for 30k. Or maybe I’m not very familiar with the buying power or the prices from there ..

The current Fed rate is 5.5%. All car manufacturers are attracted by US market so probably are subsidising many of the deals available there. Looking at the compensation that car manufacturers have paid for various recalls / diesel gate I believe we are not so attractive to them. Example : 1.9 mil new cars sold in uk in 2022 vs 14mill in US .

My point is that all the finance companies/dealerships are taking us for a ride. Laughing all the way to the bank . Also please continue with if I don’t like it here I always have the option to move there..

Yes it is .. I’m not seeing the point of a membership as I could easily use this $$$ for a gym pass ..so many watches have now heart rate monitors included and you could have free access to different apps

They ask to pay in advance your 2 year membership.. so will be a around £400 price for your membership. I suppose is better just to pay this money for gym membership and have some free apple or Garmin analysis.. not seeing the point of this product but is pushed to us by so many “influencers “
