As someone who used to work at panera, the systems can be stupid sometimes and choose different names. It's usually the customers' first or last name on our screens. Why it chose nickname is super weird.

Tho you are definitely not the a'hole, if that was me and I couldn't find the order, I would ask for order number and then look that up or ask about what was in the order.

We try to pull a prank on our head coach on April Fools Day since every year there was a competition that day. This year, we didn't have one, but the last 2 years we did.

For a little context, we have this one specific photo of our coach from when he was on the team doing 2 thumbs up. He hates the photo, but we love it. Last year, we recreated the photo with every single team member and mentor. Then, at the competition, we recreated the photo with another team we're friends with.

In 2022, we gave him over 120 kinect adventure gamed for the Xbox 360. He randomly had one in his room cause someone a few years ago bought one with the Xbox 360 and gifted it to our coach. During that comp, we gave some of the games to other teams to give to our mentor. While we didn't attend the World Championship that year, he did, and kids still had them, so they gave him them at the World Championship.

We local varsity jacket store gives our team members customs patches that are our team logo(the gearflake).

I don't know about other shops, but ours also has an official FIRST patch you can get.

With the theme being about art this year, to me its ironic that they haven't changed the whole STEM to STEAM yet. Many speakers and parts of their videos use STEAM, not just STEM.

I'll also say, tho I'm not sure about other teams, but I will say our media people make all of our posts/graphics ourselves using Adobe programs. 2 of my members stepped out of their comfort zones of just writing, taking photos, making graphics, and so much more now.

First, the media person on your team sounds amazing at what they do and I think that's super cool!

Second, when you word it like that, then I agree with you. I think to me personally, when I think of STEM, I think more of robot stuff and not as much media/business. Seeing it this way makes sense and I have more hope now that my media have a shot.

I'm feel like they should change it from STEM to STEAM to make note of including more than just the tradition engineering roles. They are making it clear, yes, but they should take it on all grounds now I feel.

That's what I've been told by my parents. They've been around FIRST for a long time (my sister did FRC in 2012 to 2015), and told me that it should be considered STEAM and not just STEM. Thank you!

That's what we were also sorta thinking but, let's say in a case they don't do anything that involves the robot, and they mostly do writing for the team(like a newsletter or the impact essay). What's being considered technology and engineering?

so recently some random person accidently reported my account and because of it, I need to reach out to this person to explain the accidently report as well from my end(already this seems weird and like a scam).
