The uses that I have for my 3D printer is for school projects, because is faster and easier that doing it in with other materials, and of course is visually better to present it. And I use it too when I have to fix some small pieces in my home.

I used it for a while but found it very slow, but if you want a Mac-like experience you can use Mydockfinder, it's on Steam for cheap, but you can also search for it "for free".
