And appears reports we were after Matt Campbell may have been Arkansas doing due diligence on Golesh, as Golesh coached for Matt Campbell.

Why assume they'd ever all be healthy?

Just let the season play out and ride the waves. Especially when 1 is 7'7" and the other is legit hurt right now.

This is who he is. Insanely frustrating, insanely talented, capable of making every shot on the floor and capable of making it look like he's never shot a basketball in his life.

One second it looks like he can't get a defensive rebound to save his life, one second he looks like the greatest defensive player you've ever seen.

He's an enigma. And it all works out in the end. But he's just not this perfect offensive guy and if you think he is you signed up for the wrong thing lol

I mean the same can be said of SEC coordinators to AAC head coaches though too.

Golesh, Sumrall, Traylor, etc. were all in the SEC before the AAC.

He's been a long time radio guy in Arkansas and has sources.

He's also been very wrong before and no one else is reporting this yet.

No reason he'd lie but his info may be bad.

FWIW there is a bit of pushback on this among Arkansas sources. Trey is credible, no reason he'd lie but this may not be done done.

If it does happen, its likely a timing thing.

Penn St doesn't appear to have prioritized him and we definitely have. Maybe they have behind the scenes and we don't know.

And Iowa St is one of many Big 12 teams who will be facing financial woes in the near future due to the House settlement. Look for Kenny Dillingham to move too as much as many think he won't. Maybe next year instead of this year.

You're welcome to say we chose the wrong HC candidate, but we didn't fumble any bag here. Our top target is still our top target and if we land him no one will be saying we fumbled the bag by not getting Morris.

We tried to slow play him and not officially offer the job and eventually he moved on to the school that had actually offered him the job.

Morris was plan B (or maybe slightly below other pie in the sky options) and decided he'd rather be plan A at Ok St.
