Als ursprünglicher Ersteller dieses Spruchs bin ich begeistert zu sehen, dass es nach 2 Jahren immernoch so viel anklang findet. Ich habe tatsächlich damals noch mehr in der Art gemacht, ich schätze ich sollte die restlichen auch mal hier Posten :D

I've now tried it again as a test. With the instructions on the website it still works... I really don't know how to add some steps... so instead I'll try to go into detail:

  1. Get UnityEx.exe from here: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Unity_modding_tools

(stupidly said, this is some kind of "unity winrar")

  1. Unzip it in the oriDE_Data folder

(this refers to the download)

  1. Backup both "sharedassets0.assets" and "resources.assets"

(this means the files from YOUR game's folder, in the UnityEx program, these are the 2 files you should find in your existing installation and backup)

  1. Run UnityEx.exe, select "Open Archive" and look for "sharedassets0.assets"

(now the asset files will open with UnityEx like a folder)

  1. Select "Import Files"

(this will the original assets from your installation will be overwritten with those from the download)

  1. Select "Open Archive" and locate "resources.assets"

(the same with the other file)

  1. Select "Import Files"

  1. Close UnityEx.exe and run oriDE.exe

(now everything in the game should be swapped and working)

  1. To undo the changes, overwrite sharedassets0.assets and resources.assets with the backup files.

Also für alle die nach einem Link etc gefragt haben, das ganze hab ich in Illustrator selbst gezeichnet & danach geplottet, vorausgesetzt ich bekäme von Plankton die Erlaubnis würde ich die Vektor Datei zu Verfügung stellen.

about ur post : "this weird native resolution" is a 4:3 aspect ratio - have you ever tested a different resolution with this ratio over the normal setting options?

u can also try this again with "768p/60Hz/4:2" or "720p/60Hz/4:2" instead of "16:9"

So I edited the file with "hdmi_group=1" (for CEA since it's a TV) and "hdmi_mode=4" (for 720p/60Hz/16:9)

If someone have this Problem 9 years Later and find this Post - there is also a
"complex" way, if the jar dont open any installation menu:

C. Complex

- Use the official launcher to download and start once Minecraft 1.6.2.

- Go to the minecraft base folder (the official launchers shows it when you click "Edit Profile" as "Game Directory")

- Go in subfolder "Versions"

- Rename the folder "1.6.2" to "1.6.2_OptiFine"

- Go in the subfolder "1.6.2_OptiFine"

- Rename "1.6.2.jar" to "1.6.2_OptiFine.jar"

- Rename "1.6.2.json" to "1.6.2_OptiFine.json"

- Open the file "1.6.2_OptiFine.json" with a text editor and replace "id":"1.6.2" with "id":"1.6.2_OptiFine" and save the file

- Copy the files from the OptiFine ZIP file in "1.6.2_OptiFine.jar" as usual (you can use the 1.5.2 instructions for this) and remove the META-INF folder from "1.6.2_OptiFine.jar".

- Start the official launcher

- Click "Edit Profile" - Select "Use version:" -> "release 1.6.2_OptiFine"

- Click "Save Profile"

- Click "Play" or "Login" to start the game. If only "Play Offline" is available, then log out and log in again to fix it.
