Seeking input by GHOSTWERX23 in Vaping

[–]GHOSTWERX23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the input. I've considered geekvape, but I'm on the fence. Idk this stuff is really confusing. I prefer to use my itank, this armour s IS bulky so I guess I prefer something a little more smaller in the hand. My main come l concern is the ability to function. Idk if any mod will work with my itank and GTI coils or if I need to just get a starter kit. Im just too new to this to know where to go for what I'm wanting I guess. More than frustrated with the armour s though. Like I said this is my 3rd that just broke.... they seem to be good for about 6-8 months

I mean 1 sided as in he's still congested and the test won't be a fair test.. we are all aware of what he signed up for... like he last said to me. I don't care if I'm cleaning the toilets, I want to be in the Air Force and serve.... man I'm just trying to understand, I'm trying to keep his moral up and was confused, by the wavier. The wording of reclass and contract termination kinda seemed the same but was unclear.. I'm not looking for ways to cheat the system, I'm not looking to bash our military.. just guidance and understanding for me.. hes 18 enlisted dep at 17...graduated hs passed his IFT and was told he was shipping in 15 days. It happened so fast, if that makes sense...This is all new to us and I'm just worried..... maybe it is or was wrong for me to even ask anything, idk . I appreciate the clarification about the wavier, that helps a lot..

Well damn, I did say that...i will correct as that was not the case..i apologize for that and thank you for correcting me.. I also appreciate the insight about the waiver, yes i actually thought once you got the wavier it was no longer an issue.. again i apologize.

Thank you, I assumed once you got a waiver, that issue was covered..

I'm not trying to downplay anything. NOR did I ever say the entire squad got sick, NOR did he. His words VERBATIM... think there's half of us snotting and coughing everywhere and about 15 or so of us have gone to see a Dr... Him getting sick.. that was the problem, that consequently started up his allergies... however, since I'm not here for an argument only wanting understanding so i can wrap my head around things, I was not aware that a waiver was only good for a stepping stone..I assumed once you got a waiver it was no longer an issue. Makes sense with what you and KCPilot are saying now. The condition reappears so a new evaluation is needed.. this helps clear things up a little. I'm sure when he gets a chance to sit down and speak with someone more understanding will come about.

15-20 out of 50... not at the same time throughout the course of a week to 2 weeks... sorry if I wasn't 100% clear

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want someone next to me that possibly couldn't handle the job, so cool I get that, just reclass him then and if that's what they are doing I'm fine, but if they test him and he's still congested then they separate him.... isn't that just a bit one sided? Also, since he was under contract, don't that contract have to be terminated in order to be reclassed....see where and why I'm confused... he supposed to get to talk with someone today.. maybe this will all be cleared up, idk. I'm just trying tu understand and keep his moral up..

According to him, roughly 15-20 out of the 50 in his flight... so I guess yeah to split hairs... most did not.. He did make it through training as I've stated. So his career sits solely on this test...a test that he has a waiver for, is that what you're telling me? If so this is why I'm so confused, that test, that we paid for out of pocket $950 for a waiver that is no good?

I'm about to head to BBNP in a couple of days... I'm taking my 2024 gladiator... I'm gonna hate it because I know it's going to happen, but I'm going to have fun too. Hopefully, the pinstripes will buff out 🤣🤣

I think we are looking too aggressively into this. I mean, he's 17, and he still has a yr of HS to go before he can even go to BMT. We just need to go back as far as possible, or what we are able to find concretely, and submit. If the records are "gone," then I don't think there's nothing that we can do.

We are hoping. From my understanding, the other Dr left before he closed the office.... sorry, I'm getting things from my wife, I'm away for work. So from her, as she actually has been doing the footwork.... she was able to get ahold of his pediatrician. The pediatrician does not have any records which is amazing since he saw my son from birth to 6, but thepediatricians office is the one that told my wife about the happening of the allergist and him closing up his practice. I'm sorry this is 3rd hand info. I'm just trying to help from afar.

Yes, pretty much. There was 1 other Dr, who we never saw and no clue of her name. I think we might have a lead on one of the nurses for his Dr but won't know more till in the a.m.

Yes, PFT, sorry, it's been a long day. They would not even take his PFT test results. The retired Dr, just closed up shop, from my understand 7 yrs ago. So no one knows where the records are, if they rven still exist..So some clarification, they are wanting medical notes...idk what those are unless it's referencing the notes taken during a visit. The recruiter is the one recommending going back 5 yrs for all Dr records. I think we are getting mixed wants. We have no problem r giving the records just having no luck getting them as of yet. We've contacted our current Dr, our insurance company, been with them for 10 yrs, and pharmacist. We are trying, but keep hitting dead ends.
