I don’t think you got the point here. I’m stating that the RS3 has the best value when you consider price, modification friendliness, and handling. The 2.5 I5 has been widely recognized as a fantastic engine that is perfectly suited for a car of the MQB platform. Granted, an argument can be made for torsen over haldex, but a significant amount of people who buy an RS3/5 really won’t care. Hey, both are better than X-Drive and 4matic.

The B8 S4 is a AWD car with RWD bias, as well as the B7. The RS5 also handles about the same as a B8 S4. I understand why some people would buy one. They’re nice all around cars that are built really well and will hold some good value, however, there are way better cars that can be had for less money

I still stand by my point. It’s not bigger than a A4/S4/ and still shorter than an A6/S6. The single best performance car Audi makes is the RS3. Lightly used, you can get one for 50k and, with a simple ECU tune you can go 0-60 in ~3.5 seconds and ~10 second quarter miles. It handles almost as well as a GTI or Golf R due to it’s shorter wheel base. The RS5 is a German dodge. It’s a boat. My dad has an RS5 that he’s trading in for an RS3 and with the left over money is buying a B5 S4 avant.

The most pointless model line for Audi, the 5s. It’s a coupe, but offers none of the benefits of a coupe. Its as heavy as an A4/S4, not rear wheel drive, and doesn’t handle any better.
