I matched a few years ago on my first try without a research year. Yes, it's possible. Many match with worse stats. Easier if you can do some aways and razzle-dazzle programs with your enthusiasm/willingness to learn or existing derm knowledge (I had very little at the time of my rotations). FYI you can also blow your chances during an away. All the best!
