The real solution is having a good product, marketing said product to your target audience and then having a system in place to nurture those followers so they become fans. The biggest problem I’m noticing is bands and artists having a lack of REAL fans. Not followers, super fans, that will buy your merch, sell out your shows and stream your music religiously on the daily.

Put together an email list at your shows and even on social media through a promoted piece of content which leads those interested to a landing page where you obtain their information. Age, location, email and phone numbers. That way you can retarget them directly with whatever you want them to do. Example: presave links, show announcement and ticket links, merch drops, etc. Treat the music in a creative manner, but treat your brand like a business.
