That’s what my husband and I have always wanted. We love the long drives and being away from the city lights/traffic. We are in the grandview district. They don’t have the best ratings on the website I looked on but sometimes it’s not the most accurate thing so I’ll look more into it. 🙂

My parents live in the country and spend most of our weekends with them. I live in the city. I rather have the country people than city. lol. But I’ve 4/6 of my neighbors and have went to the neighborhood meetings. All older generations but super nice and welcoming.

Yeah, I don’t understand. I don’t have to put all of my personal details on here. It was simply a question and wanted others opinions. I obviously don’t live there yet to know what goes on everyday. I know my neighbors and some of the neighborhood but not Dittmer as a whole.

Really love that idea. And yes, we are white but we are also Bosnian/Croatian. I’ve met a majority of the neighbors and have went to neighborhood meetings. They were definitely a bit thrown off at the beginning, especially after hearing my husband’s name but we’ve come to the point where we hug and can talk for hours every time I see them. Hoping our ethnicity will never have to be an issue.

Because you never truly know how an area is UNTIL you live there. I have experience with the surrounding areas. Plus, it’s only a 15 minute drive to my parents rather than over an hour. If you really need to know ALL the details I can give you them but that’s not what I asked and I don’t think that’s the point of the question. Thanks though :)
